Arbitration: White Sox avoid hearings with Beckham and de Aza

The White Sox’ short list of arbitration eligible players is done with,a s Joel Sherman reports that the Pale Hose have reached agreements today with second baseman Gordon Beckham and Alejandro de Aza.

Beckham, going into his sixth season with Chicago, played in 103 games last season, batting .267/.322/.372. He will earn $4.175 million in 2014, up from $2.925 million.

De Aza, who has four years with Chicago under his belt, played in a career high 153 games, primarily at lead off, hitting .264/.323/.405 with 20 stolen bases. De Aza will earn $4.25 million, up from $2.075 million.
