It’s beginning to look a lot like arbitration season! That’s right ladies and gentleman, it’s that time of the year which means Spring Training and Opening Day is just right around the corner.
Teams are meeting with players today and hoping they can avoid an arbitration hearing. Most guys across the league will be handed a one year deal, others will fail to come to some sort of agreement. Names of those who have agree’d to one year contracts are beginning to pile in, but one big name stands out from the rest.
Baltimore Orioles and power hitting lefty Chris Davis were able to agree on a one year contract worth $10.35 million according to Eduardo A. Encina on Twitter.
