Ever wanted to be buried at your team’s home stadium, or have your ashes scattered over the playing field? Well, for Barcelona fans that final wish could soon become a reality. The club plans to open a mausoleum where fans will be able to pay to have their remains stored.

While the first stage of the plan has space for 500 urns at the cemetery of Les Corts, there are proposals in place to incorporate the mausoleum into a modernised Camp Nou or a new stadium, where there would be room for 30,000 urns, according to The Guardian.

The club’s director of facilities, Josep Ramon Vidal-Abarca is quoted as saying:

“This is in response to the historical demand from members who want their remains laid to rest at the stadium,”

For those interested, prices range from $4,000 to $8,100 to buy space for between 5o and 99 years.
