On Friday afternoon, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Davone Bess was released from jail, this after allegedly assaulting a police officer on Friday morning.

This of course came just a day after Bess posted a picture of a blunt and some marijuana.

Tweeting pictures of his weed isn’t something new as Bess has done it a handful of times, though when questioned about the incident he had the most odd response – ‘ask Brandon Weeden‘.

Weeden of course is Bess’ Cleveland Browns teammate and quarterback, so where he was going with this is anybody’s guess. Was he attempting to blame Weeden for the marijuana? Or was he simply being an unfunny jackass and decided to pair the two together because of the ‘weed’ name, which seems more likely.

Bess (who was weirdly happy) took a moment to think about his answer when questioned about the weed tweet (scroll to the 1:19 mark) before coming up his teammate as his answer.

Clearly, the guy needs some help.

Very sad. I liked him when they traded for him. Hopefully the FO wasn’t aware of these issues, because if they were, they literally are incompetent.

While it seems very possible Weeden was lighting up, given his play all last season, throwing your teammate under the bus makes Bess look like even more of a jerk than he already did. Guy’s nuts…Browns need to get rid of him pronto.
