According to WrestleZone.com, Hulk Hogan and WWE have reached a verbal agreement this past week that will see the legend make an appearance at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans.
Since Hogan’s departure from IMPACT Wrestling a few months ago, rumors have been swirling about a possible return to the company at some point, and now it seems it’s come to fruition.
As far as Hogan’s involvement at the event, that’s a tricky one. While ideas have been tossed around all over the place, it’s highly unlikely that Hogan will step foot in the ring and work an actual match. Given his recent health history, the chances of him passing an official WWE physical are not that good whatsoever.
One idea that WWE has tossed around lately is inducting the first WrestleMania main event into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before the event. That match saw Hogan team up with Mr. T to face the team of Rowdy Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff.
No matter what his involvement ultimately ends up being, whatever your thoughts are on the man, this is a huge grab for the company before the biggest even in their history, and yet another example of the new regime of HHH and Stephanie getting a big deal done at the right time.
