Kobe Bryant goes back to class

Kobe Bryant’s basketball career is nearly over, but he isn’t finished growing his personal brand. That’s why the LA Lakers legend was sitting in on a marketing class at Boston College.

Despite being unable to play for the Lakers because of a fractured knee, but has travelled with the team for Friday’s game against the Boston Celtics. Since he had some time on his hands, Bryant decided to go back to school.

While Kobe won’t need the money, after signing that two year, $48.5 million contract extension, he clearly wants to continue to develop his skills, just off the court this time.

Plus, being able to say ‘come to class, you might meet one of the most successful basketball players of all time’ is a pretty good selling point for BC.
