The Florida Gators managed to get two quality wins in the absence of their leading scorer, but on Saturday, Billy Donovan will apparently have a pleasant addition to his rotation when the team takes on Auburn.
#7 Florida will have leading scorer Casey Prather available at Auburn on Saturday after missing the last 2 games.

Swingman Casey Prather is set to return the lineup for the Gators on Saturday, and while we don’t know how much he’ll play, his offense will certainly provide a lift to Florida. Prather is averaging 17 points per game for this year’s edition of the Gators, and while they were able to grab two victories without him, the offense was stagnant at times.
Donovan was quick to say that Prather wouldn’t be at full-strength, however, and he provided this quote to ESPN:
“How much he’ll play is really, really hard to say. I’m doubtful he’s play much. That’s my guess.”
That’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of his health, but if there’s any team that can sustain him at half-speed, it’s probably Florida. The 7th-ranked Gators currently have 5 players averaging double-figures, and this is one of Donovan’s deepest teams since the infamous back-to-back championship run with Joakim Noah and Al Horford.
Prather will likely take things slow, but it’s good to see the Gators back at full strength once again.
