Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo is getting back into action, but has been playing with a 20 minute limit. Rondo even said he’d play on Sunday, but suggested that he might miss the second leg of a back-to-back in the middle of the week. The Celtics play the Miami Heat on Tuesday before taking on the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.
Rajon Rondo on if he’ll play in back-to-backs: “It’s still open. I think it depends on how I feel after the Miami game (on Tuesday).”

Head coach Brad Stevens praised Rondo’s return.
“Yeah, I thought he was great,” Stevens said, via the Celtics’ website. “Obviously he’s going to feel – we’ll know more tomorrow about how he feels – but I thought he looked pretty good out there and he was obviously really rusty in the first quarter, but that was to be expected. And then, you know, he got that run in the second quarter and did a lot there, and I thought he made a lot of plays down the stretch. Just came up a little bit short, but I was glad he had the ball.”
