The first ESPN College GameDay for the college basketball season took place on Saturday from the infamous Palestra where the Temple Owls are taking on the LaSalle Explorers.

With this being the first broadcast of the season, and with it being in such a historic college basketball venue, you would expect a raucous crowd, which they indeed were.

And also, with all GameDays, you expect to see a lot of creative signs from the fans, generally poking fun at the opponent for that day so they can get themselves on national television as they nurse their hangover from the Friday night before.

However, for all the creative signs, there’s some that you just shake your head at, like this Temple fan that put in about five seconds of effort into his, one would have to assume.

You can’t even give him the credit for incorporating ESPN into the sign, because that’s been so overplayed by now that you need to add a little something more to it.

Also, how about that death stare that he appears to be giving someone? This is just one big all-around fail.
