New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount has really come into his own in the 2013 NFL season, especially in the postseason. Last week, he single-handedly torched the Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional round, setting up this weekend’s showdown with the Denver Broncos for the AFC Championship.
While this might be the best performance of his career, Blount has been around the league for a few years now, so you would think that he probably by this point is one of those professional athletes that has quite the extensive car collection to show off.
No, not with him.
Blount doesn’t have a Ferrari, nor a Lamborghini, nor 10 different color Escalades.
No, Blount is more than happy with his 1993 Chevrolet Caprice that he so nicely re-did with all the fun gadgets.
Probably the most ironic thing about all of this is how the interior of the car matches the color of the team that basically handed him to the Pats, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Maybe looking at that color every day gives him the motivation to play the way he’s been playing as of late.
