The Chicago Bulls traded Marquis Teage to the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday in a three team deal that reeked of being a salary dump for the Bulls. This marks the second time this season that the Bulls have dumped a player and taken on virtually nothing in return, as they traded Luol Deng to the Cavs earlier this month in exchange for what amounted to be just draft picks.

Moving Teague doesn’t hurt the team too much, as he was just recently recalled from the D-League — and now we know why. But Bulls fans, and NBA fans in general, are trying to figure out why the Bulls are dumping salary overboard and not just admitting they’re doing so.

Fans reacted to the trade and the salary dump on Twitter:

Fans in Chicago aren’t sure what is going on with their team, but it’s apparent that some rings are going to get rocky if a plan isn’t hashed out.
