There a few people that have done more for their alma mater than Nike founder Phil Knight has done for the University of Oregon. Much of what the school has has come from him, including the constant uniform combinations that have revitalized the college sports industry as it pertains to apparel.

So, the school has decided to send out a thank you to Knight by holding a special event in his honor.

At the basketball game on February 1, every person in attendance at the Ducks’ basketball game against the USC Trojans will receive a Phil Knight bobblehead.

If you look closely at the inscription at the bottom of the gift, you can see that it’s appropriately engraved with “Thank you, Uncle Phil,” which seems rather appropriate.

Nice gesture by a school to do something like this for a man that, as stated before, has basically built everything that they have today.

Now the question will become, how many of these folks will try and sell these on EBay? I’m more curious in seeing how much people would bid on a Phil Knight bobblehead.
