WWE legend Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler will be stepping in the ring once again even tho he’s been in pretty bad shape. I remember watching the Monday Night RAW where Jerry Lawler ended up having a heart attack on the air. He was in a match up before then before everything went south.
I noticed Michael Cole looking off to the side a little bit as the camera wouldn’t pan out so it could get a look at Lawler who clearly wasn’t there. The show continued while Lawler had to be brought back to life. Now he’s recovered but faced a little bit of a scary issue just a couple weeks ago where he was hospitalized after throwing up and experiencing chest pain.
Lawler claims that it was due to bad sea food that he had recently ate, nothing related to his previous heart attack. Now according to NoDQ.com, Jerry Lawler will be taking on his very own son, Brian Christopher aka Grandmaster Sexay, a former member of WWE’s Too Cool.
Christopher and his father will be stepping in the squared circle today in Memphis, Tennessee on January 30th. It’s for the Southern Heavyweight Classic tournament. These two had themselves a little bit of a pre-WrestleMania moment when Lawler was scheduled to take on Michael Cole at WrestleMania 27. Here’s a look at the promo that Lawler’s son cut about his Father on Monday Night RAW back in 2011.
