Indiana Pacers forward David West was fined $15,000 on Sunday for throwing an elbow at Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin during Saturday night’s game. You can see the play, which occurred in the closing seconds of the first half, below:

The confrontation between the two is made a little more interesting if you take into account the comments Chris Paul allegedly made last week. According to the rumor, Paul said he wishes Griffin would play more like West. (Yeah…that’s it. Breaking news, am I right? Your life was definitely improved by reading that.)

The Pacers won the game 106-92. West had four points and two rebounds before being ejected for the elbow. Griffin finished the contest with 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block. Paul George led all scorers with 36 points, also contributing 11 rebounds, a pair of assists, and an impressive five blocks. Oh, and he threw down this dunk, too.
