The Georgia Bulldogs landed on of the country’s elite prospects in the class of 2015 Saturday when five-star athlete Terry Godwin committed to the Bulldogs.

Dan Legge of The Athens Banner-Herald has the scoop.
Terry Godwin didn’t know what sort of reaction his commitment to Georgia would get Saturday morning, but the one he got wasn’t what he expected.
“They were speechless,” Godwin said of John Lilly and head coach Mark Richt.
Godwin is a talented 6’0, 165 lb. athlete who is projected to excel as either a wide receiver or a cornerback, but most experts see him in the secondary at the next level.
Jeremy Pruitt, who left the national champion Florida State Seminoles to become the Bulldogs’ defensive coordinator last week, certainly played a role in landing Godwin.
According to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings, Goodwin is the 18th best overall player, the third best player in Georgia and the second ranked athlete in the country in the class of 2014.
He is the Bulldogs’ third commitment in the class of 2015, joining safety Rico McGraw, who committed Thursday and wide receiver Christian Owens, who has been committed since the spring.
