The culture around the Minnesota Timberwolves hasn’t been that positive lately, as the team consistently loses close games and can’t seem to keep star forward Kevin Love happy anymore. There’s also the fact that the bench is in shambles and Ricky Rubio has admitted basketball isn’t as fun as it used to be for him.

But all of the troubles for the Wolves and the major questions about their future were shelved for a short few moments after their game on Saturday against the Utah Jazz. Not only did the Wolves blow out the Jazz, but the team’s two superstars posed with a young fan and his fourth grade trophy after the game.

The moment reminded us that fans can change hearts and minds, if even for a moment.

The win on Saturday night definitely helped ease tensions, but the photo almost restores your faith in the Timberwolves.

But then you remember that the team is still on the outside of the playoff picture looking in, their bench slacks off on a regular basis and Kevin Love will still be gone in just over a year.

At least Timberwolves fans will have relics like this to remind them of how happy everyone could have been.
