It’s been over a year since Carl Pavano threw in a Major League game but that hasn’t derailed interest in the veteran pitcher.
According to Chris Cotillo, ‘many teams’ are interested in signing Pavano and are currently monitoring his rehab progress.

Pavano, who last threw in 2012 hasn’t exactly been overly successful since the 2010 season, so it’s unlikely any team will be willing to give him more than minor league deal. That said – there are plenty of pitchers still available in free agency who aren’t any better than Pavano and are wanting guaranteed money, so the interest in Pavano is understood.
Now 37 years old, Pavano hopes to show he’s fully recovered from his ruptured spleen and will attempt to put forth his comeback.
There’s no rumors of what teams are interested in Pavano, though one could reasonably assume the vast majority of franchises in desperate need of pitching have an eye on him.
No word on if Pavano’s mustache will get its own deal.
