During halftime of the AFC Championship game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, fans in attendance were treated to a halftime show from The Fray. Following suit, the NFC Championship game’s halftime entertainment was from another local product — Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Macklemore appeared on the sidelines during last week’s divisional round match up against the New Orleans Saints at CenturyLink Field and now the group will be performing.

“For a kid who grew up here, I can’t even imagine 68,000 people going crazy for his wonderful talent,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said on Friday. “They’ve been with us for the last couple of years. It’s a great celebration.”

Macklemore has grown more and more familiar with the Seahawks fan base during their recent success. Last year, Macklemore raised the 12th Man flag at the Space Needle prior to the the Seahawks’ playoff run.
