The New England Patriots made it to the AFC Championship game for the third year in a row, and for the second year in a row that is where their season ended. The Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning beat the Patriots to advance to the Super Bowl. Despite that, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick said he is proud of what they did this season.

“I’m proud of our football team. I’m proud of everything we did this year,” Belichick said, via CSNNE.com. “We’ve got a lot of guys in that locker room that played hard, played well, gave everything they had all season long. I’m proud to be their coach.”

There is a lot to be proud of as well, they played with injuries all over the field throughout the year and still made it as far as they did. They lost defensive tackle Vince Wilfork and tight end Rob Gronkowski to name a few.

Imagine what a healthier Patriots team could’ve done this season or post season.
