On Monday, it will be time to kick off Senior Bowl Week in Mobile, Alabama, where many of the top senior prospects in the nation will put their skills on display in game action one final time before the 2014 NFL Draft.
With the roster still waiting to be finalized, Senior Bowl executive director Phil Savage announced that seven players have been added to the roster just ahead of Monday’s practice.
The seven players added are West Virginia defensive end Will Clarke, Lindenwood cornerback Pierre Desir, Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Justin Ellis, Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, Oklahoma offensive lineman Gabe Ikard, Utah State cornerback Nevin Lawson and Georgia Tech safety Jemea Thomas.
Garoppolo had an impressive week at the East-West Shrine Game and will now have an even greater opportunity to impress the scouts on a bigger stage.
Another player to watch will be Desir, who is the kind of long, rangy cornerback that NFL teams have been falling in love with.
We will have daily coverage of the Senior Bowl throughout the week right here on FanSided.com, so be sure to tune in throughout the week.
