Video: Paul George’s Dunk of the Year candidate

In case you missed it, Indiana Pacers swingman Paul George threw down an incredible dunk against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. After getting the steal, George had the open court in a breakaway opportunity, when he decided to show us all why the league wants to have him participate in the 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Competition.

Rather than finishing with a simple jam, George slowed up and went on to throw down an amazing 360 windmill dunk.

The crowd went wild, as you would expect.

When you have the awareness and ability to throw down dunks like that during live game action, the opportunities you will have in the dunk competition will allow you to dazzle the crowd even more. Let’s hope that we see George participating when All-Star Weekend rolls around later this year in New Orleans:
