NBA Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks to be sellers at trade deadline?

The Milwaukee Bucks are currently the worst team in the NBA (at least standings wise) at 7-33. No team is even close to being that bad as the Philadelphia 76ers, who have the second fewest wins in the league, currently have almost double at 13.

So it shouldn’t come too shocking that the Bucks are open to being sellers come February’s NBA trade deadline as owner Herb Kohl has reportedly given up his playoff chase.

Per HoopsRumors (via ESPN):

Bucks owner Herb Kohl is signaling to the team’s management that he’s ready to give up the pursuit of a playoff berth this season, as Chad Ford of ESPN.com writes in his latest Insider-only “Tank Rank” column

Of course, it’s a bit silly to think a team with only seven wins as we approach the halfway portion of the season could actually be in playoff contention, though the 16-win Brooklyn Nets currently hold the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks have a handful of intriguing players/contracts available, like Caron Butler, Luke Ridnour and Ekpe Udoh who could all find themselves on the move in the coming weeks.
