The usual round of NBA Power Rankings were released and there was a general consensus that the Indiana Pacers were the best team in the NBA according to four rankings. There was also general consensus that the Portland Trail Blazers were the second best team in the league in those same four rankings.
That had the Trail Blazers thinking about the NBA finals this summer and they sent a Tweet to the Pacers asking if they were available for a date in June implying the two teams will meet in the NBA Finals.

Fortunately for the Trail Blazers, the Pacers accepted.

Now if either team failed to make the NBA Finals, which is a definite possibility given that the Miami Heat have only lost one playoff series in three years, in the NBA Finals to the Dallas Mavericks. The Pacers getting past the Heat might be the biggest hurdle, let alone the Trail Blazers getting past the Thunder or Spurs.
