College football recruiting: 93 Rivals250 recruits committed to SEC schools

It appears that the SEC’s dominance in college football will not be going anywhere soon. With the folks at Rivals releasing their Rivals250 list of the top high school recruits in the nation, the SEC has managed to nab 93 of the top recruits.

The number is astonishing and significantly larger than the conference with the second most Rivals250 recruits.

Here is a quick look at the conferences with the most recruits on the Rivals250 list:

SEC: 93
ACC: 41
Pac 12: 29
Big Ten: 27
Big 12: 20

Of course, there is plenty of time for recruits to flip their commitments by the time that National Signing Day rolls around in a few weeks, but the SEC’s margin will remain significantly larger than any other conference.
