New York Giants offensive tackle Justin Pugh had an impressive rookie season for the team after being the No. 19 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Pugh started all 16 games for the Giants throughout his rookie campaign, and it appears that he did so while nursing a hand injury.

While the Giants did not disclose an injury at any point throughout the season, Pugh announced on Monday that he underwent surgery on his thumb.

He revealed the news on Twitter:

The good news for the Giants is that Pugh said the surgery is minor. He is fully expected to be ready for training camp, where he will beginning preparing for his sophomore campaign.
