Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade out again
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade will miss his third straight game when the Heat host the Boston Celtics Wednesday night.
The Associated Press has the scoop.
"Wade had an offseason shock wave treatment to relieve ongoing knee trouble, and typically it takes at least six months before recovering fully. This is the first time he’s missed three consecutive games since late in the 2012-13 regular season.Coach Erik Spoelstra said being back at home should help Wade get back into his usual workout routine. The Heat played six straight on the road before Tuesday."
The Heat are 1-1 with Wade out over the last two games. They defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 104-96 on Saturday night and lost to the Atlanta Hawks 121-114 on Monday evening.
Wade was last in action Friday night when the Heat defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 101-86. Wade had eight points on three-of-six shooting in just 25 minutes.
This will be the 12th game Wade has missed this season.
On the season, Wade is averaging 18.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game this season.
The Celtics and Heat will tip at 7:30 pm EST.
