Rony Jason vs Steven Siler set for UFN 38

The UFC is going back to Brazil for UFC Fight Night 38. With the announcement that the Shogun Rua vs Dan Henderson rematch will headline the card, the UFC has begun adding additional bouts to the event.Today, the UFC announced that Featherweights, Steven Siler and Rony Jason, will battle inside the Octagon at the event. There is no word yet as to the placement of the bout on the card.

Rony Jason, the TUF Brazil 1 Featherweight tournament winner, is coming off his first UFC loss at the hands of Jeremy Stephens. Back at UFC Fight Night 32, Jason was knocked out viciously by a head kick from Stephens. The head kick was the first KO of it’s kind inside the UFC’s Featherweight division. Before the setback, Jason was on an eight fight winning streak including three in a row inside the UFC. He will look to get back to his winning ways against Siler in March.

Steven Siler, a TUF 14 alumnus, is 5-2 in his UFC career including notable wins over Mike Brown and Cole Miller. Siler is coming off a loss to Dennis Bermudez in a hard fought battle back at UFC Fight for the Troops. Siler was on a two fight winning streak before losing to Bermudez, and will look to rebound against Jason.
