Oklahoma Sooners cornerback Aaron Colvin was one of the many athletes competing in Mobile, Alabama this week at the 2014 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Unfortunately, Colvin’s week came to an end early due to an injury.
Colvin injured his name during the South squad’s practice on Tuesday afternoon, before leaving the field with ice wrapped around his knee.
According to Matt Miller of Bleacher Report, the fear is that Colvin may have suffered a torn ACL.
That would obviously be crushing news for the Oklahoma corner so close to the draft.
Prior to heading to Mobile, Colvin was believed to be a second-round prospect. He will obviously slide down draft boards if the torn ACL proves to be the injury he suffered.
People question why some prospects choose to pass on the Senior Bowl, but Colvin’s injury shows us why.
