Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones comes under fire from media, critics and fans for his meddling in the business of the team. Some feel he should bring in a general manager and take a step back, but he has fought that notion.

Former Cowboys head coach and Hall of Famer Bill Parcells thinks he can do whatever he wants because it his team.

“Well, what all of us believe, or think, it’s not going to happen in Dallas,” Parcells told the Mike & Mike show on ESPN radio, via the Dallas Morning News. “I think Jerry’s going to be the guy that’s the general manager. He’s got it set up that way. He’s got people he relies on, and quite frankly, it’s been reasonably successful for him. That’s the way he wants to do it, it’s his priority, he owns the team. And he has every right to do it the way he wants to.”

Surely the fans disagree, but you can’t argue his blunt point.
