Basketball is a sport played by big men with big bodies. That’s part of what makes the game so entertaining, but it’s also what makes the game so dangerous. We saw how dangerous the game can be when Los Angeles Clippers big man Blake Griffin committed an offensive foul, but fell to the ground and landed on Bismack Biyombo’a head.

The play seemed harmless due to it’s bang-bang nature, but it was a lot nastier than it looked.

The play goes to show that while big bodies and big men lead to amazingly freakish plays, they can also lead to injuries made more severe thanks to the size of the men playing the game.
