Taylor will be a free agent when he clears waivers which means he’ll be able to sign wherever he wants to and teams will be able to call him in for workouts. It’s very likely that he’ll find work elsewhere as the guard may end up fitting somewhere like Los Angeles where the Clippers are searching for help in the wake of Chris Paul’s injury.
New Orleans has opened up a roster spot to try and add a big man that they covet. The Pelicans are trying to find a big man on the market or in a trade, but they now have room on their roster to fit one.
