Oklahoma QB Kendal Thompson tweets that he’s transferring for 2014

If there was one thing that we learned from the Oklahoma Sooners’ huge win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Sugar Bowl earlier this month, it’s that they’re pretty set at the QB position with Trevor Knight, who gashed the vaunted Alabama defense on the way to the best game in his career.

Well, because of that more than likely, one of the quarterbacks that competed with Knight and back up Blake Bell for the starting position last fall has tweeted that he will just transfer for the 2014 season, giving himself a better chance to play elsewhere.


With the special NCAA graduate rules in place, Thompson will graduate this May and will still have two years of eligibility to work with.
