It was expected that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin would return to practice and receive medical clearance in time for the team’s Super Bowl XLVIII match up with the Denver Broncos on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

As it turns out, Harvin did return to practice as expected on Wednesday and he will now have a few days to work before the team leaves the West Coast for New Jersey this weekend.

Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell commented on Harvin’s status and hopes that he will be able to help the team in the big game.

Bevell added, “We’d love to have him. We’re ready. If he’s in there, you’ve seen what he can do.”

The Seahawks will be traveling to New Jersey on Sunday night. They are expected to touch down at 7 p.m. ET.
