Jayru Campbell, a member of the Michigan State Spartans’ 2015 recruiting class is in custody after an altercation with a security guard.

Campbell was recorded body slamming the security guard to the floor at Cass Technical High School.

While there hasn’t been any information to provide context as to why the 3-star quarterback and the guard were involved in a physical confrontation, though police have confirmed it is Campbell in the video.

This is not the first time Campbell has got in trouble. He will be suspended for the first game of the 2014 season after punching an opposing player – during a handshake line.

While he committed to the Spartans back in August 2013, that was before the punch and this incident. It is possible that these actions will lead to the scholarship offer being rescinded.
