Spring Training is just around the corner and teams are still looking at who is available on the market who can help them turn things around or reach the next level. And now that Japanese pitcher Masahiro Tanaka has decided on who he will play with, everybody can move on and focus on other names.

Now according to Jon Heyman on Twitter, several teams have expressed some interested in right handed veteran reliever Luis Ayala.

Almost every team in the league has shown interested in Luis Ayala’s services this winter. In three years with the Atlanta Braves Ayala has made about 157 appearances while posting a 2.58 ERA. Ayala’s agent must have himself a top agent if he’s able to get the attention of almost every organization in the league.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he was offered a contract from Japan. But he could more than likely end up with the Detroit Tigers or Seattle Mariners. Seattle has a little bit of wiggle room to make a couple moves.
