While the New York Knicks have struggled to make much happen with their season, Friday night was a night where it didn’t suck to be associated with the team. There is constant drama about what Carmelo Anthony will do in the offseason, but for one night all that was sidelined as Melo stole the show with a record breaking performance.

His 62 points against the Charlotte Bobcats broke a Knicks franchise scoring record, and his teammates could’t have been happier for him after he scored his 62nd point of the night.

There’s a good chance Melo leaves the Knicks at the end of the season. If he does, he’s going to take the team’s franchise scoring record along with him.
