If you were planning on attending the February 2nd screenings at the Children’s Film Festival in Seattle, you should probably know there’s been a change to the schedule.
Due to some football game being played in New Jersey on the same day, the festival has decided to move the films originally scheduled to be screened on the 2nd to the following Saturday.
(Man, is one football game really that big of a deal? Is it important or something? Like, will to come with a tortuous media week and obnoxious hype and a bazillion forgettable commercials? Will it feature the thrilling vocal antics of Joe Buck? Because then and only then do I understand reorganizing your event to accommodate a football game.)
For those of you unaware of what the festival is all about, watch this adorable video of little kids saying classic movie lines:
Since this is a sports site, no “analysis” would be complete without POWER RANKINGS. Here they are for the above video:
- Girl at 0:10 quoting Silence of the Lambs
- Girl at 0:34 quoting “Coffee is for closers” speech
- Boy at 0:40 doing a Bill Lumbergh impression
