If there’s one thing the New York Knicks don’t like doing, it’s losing and that has been happening a lot thanks to distractions surrounding the team. The main and primary distraction has been J.R. Smith and his antics, but we were reminded on Friday night how good J.R. Smith can be when he actually wants to play the game right.
Smith was on the giving end of a sick alley-oop he dished to Jeremy Tyler against the Bobcats.
Smith has been more known this season for who’s shoes he’s untied rather than who he’s made look silly on the court. We saw vintage J.R. Smith on Friday night and it’s both wonderful to see and painful to realize all the potential he’s wasting.
