The folks at EA Sports have rolled out their latest roster update for Madden NFL 25, and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman got one of the biggest honors in the game. After another incredible season and the big play that sent the Seahawks into Super Bowl XLVIII, Madden has boosted Sherman to a 99 overall.
With the ratings boost, Sherman becomes just the seventh player in this year’s game to reach the coveted 99 overall rating.
Sherman has undoubtedly been one of the best cornerbacks over the past two seasons and he is certainly deserving of the rating, but we will have to see how he holds up on Feb. 2 against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
If Sherman comes away with another impressive performance, then he could very well be the top-rated corner and a 99 overall when next year’s edition of the game is released.
