The Boston Celtics may want to buy a few extra lotto tickets tonight because Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant may miss their Friday night tilt.

Durant suffered what was thought to be a relatively minor shoulder injury in Wednesdays victory over the San Antonio Spurs, but the Durantula continued to play through the ding and hammered away for 36 points.

However, it appears Durant has experienced some stiffness in the shoulder and is now a game-time decision against the Boston Celtics.

#Thunder star Kevin Durant (shoulder) game time decision tonight vs #Celtics. Aggravated it in OKC’s win over the #Spurs on Wednesday.

There’s no reason for the Thunder to risk any further injury to Durant, so if he’s feeling any pain the best move would be to sit their star player.

If Durant is forced to miss the game or any time moving forward, it’s likely Jeremy Lamb would get the majority of fill-in minutes.

Durant will get treatment throughout the day and test things out before making a final decision.
