Seahawks owner Paul Allen addresses Richard Sherman controversy

It seems about everyone this past week has had their chance to weigh in on Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman’s comments toward San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree following the NFC Championship Game this past Sunday. Well, almost everyone, as Seahawks owner Paul Allen got his chance on Thursday night.

While attending the NBA contest between the Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trail Blazers, Allen vouched for his cornerback, as you would expect any good owner to do.

“When you sit down and talk to Richard, he’s avery engaging, intelligent, good-hearted guy,” Allen said at Thursday night’s game between the Denver Nuggets and his Portland Trail Blazers, via the Associated Press.  “All of us realize, if you’re going to the Super Bowl, everything gets magnified.  You have to keep that in your mind.”

Sherman has been the talk so far heading into next week’s Super Bowl inside MetLife Stadium, and will probably continue to be until the game kicks off between the Seahawks and the Denver Broncos next Sunday.
