It appears we’ve hit the point of no return.

It was one thing when the Seattle Seahawks decided to sell the ‘Beast Mode’ burger which came with a side of Skittles, the candy often consumed by franchise running back Marshawn Lynch. But a Seattle butcher has decided to take Lynch’s love of Skittles even further by mixing them in with his famed sausages.

Yep – that’s right. Blue Max’s “Beast Mode” sausages are made like any other typical sausage, complete with meat and spices but it’s the special ingredient of Skittles which takes them over the top.

Per King 5 in Seattle:

"We’ve seen some food products capitalizing on the Super Bowl-bound Seahawks and the 12th Man, from cupcakes to cocktails. But a butcher is selling something that brings two flavors together. It sounds completely wrong, but customers say it’s just right."

Oddly enough, some customers say the sausage actually tastes really good as you can see in the below video.

I’ll have to take their word for it, considering I’m currently too busy vomiting.
