The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Anaheim Ducks are playing in the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers in what will be an exciting outdoor event for hockey fans in California on Saturday night with an expected temperature of 60 degrees.

The environments will be unlike any of the previous Outdoor Classics the NHL has had in years past which includes this year’s New Years’ Day game between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs in Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, the home of the Michigan Wolverines.

With hockey growing in the United States and especially in California where the Ducks own the best record in the NHL, the Kings won a Stanley Cup recently and the San Jose Sharks are consistently one of the top teams in the league gives this game a certain buzz unlike any other.

Part of the buzz surrounding this game can be seen and heard in this video narrated by legendary broadcaster Vin Scully.
