Seth Rollins, Dean Amrbose and Roman Reigns ‘The Shield’.

There have been a lot of memorable stables in the history of professional wrestling. You have Degeneration-X, The Four Horsemen, The Radicalz, Team Canada, Camp Cornette, Evolution, The Million Dollar Corporation, The Corporation, Nation of Domination, Fabulous Freebirds just to name a few.

Every one of these stables has a member inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Now I’m not saying the topics of this article will be on the same level as the stables I listed above, but they have the ability to continue to make a name for themselves.

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns picked up a lot of buzz from fans who have been watching them in NXT. When they finally debuted, the WWE Universe exploded. Not only during the live pay per view itself, but on Twitter. I missed the event, but got on Twitter the same night they took out Ryback and knew these guys were going to do big things.

Since then, they have held the United States Championship (Ambrose still holds the title) and the WWE Tag Team Championships. But how long will this stable last?

The Shield’s muscle, Roman Reigns sat down for an interview with ‘the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show’ and discussed the future of The Shield.

Reigns said in an interview:

"“I think as long as I’m in The Shield, no matter what I do if it’s in a team standpoint or individual standpoint, it’s all good for The Shield because it brings a spotlight to The Shield. No matter who’s doing good or whatever we’re doing, as long as we’re doing our thing and dominating it’s good for The Shield. If Dean, if he wins the IC and combines both of them, that’s awesome for The Shield. If me and Dean win the tag team titles, that’s awesome for The Shield. If I’m the WWE Heavyweight Championship holder, that’s awesome for The Shield.” – Roman Reigns via NoDQ.com"

Fans are assuming that Reigns will be breaking away from the trio and going in his own direction. He very well could be if CM Punk decides to call it quits and walks away from the WWE in the summer. But for right now punishment will continued to be handed out by these three hounds of justice.
