If you were unaware, Google’s e-mail service “Gmail” is down. Users were greeted with a message that read: “We’re sorry, but your Gmail account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the Apps Status Dashboard for the current status of the service.”
That led Yahoo to report on the problem, I think. Though it comes across more as one e-mail provider trolling another’s plight.

It got some pretty funny responses as well, though most responded with “shots fired.”

Anyways, the rest of the internet was preparing for the apocalypse.
Gmail is down, better stock up on bottled water and canned foods.

We’ll see if other e-mail providers take advantage.
Hotmail should launch a huge marketing campaign… right now.
