At the Under Armour American Game, five star wide receiver Travis Rudolph committed to the Florida State Seminoles.
With Rudolph attending Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Florida, Florida returning their Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston and the Seminoles losing their second and third leading receivers in Kelvin Benjamin and Kenny Shaw, the decision made a lot of sense.
Rudolph has maintained he is a firm commit, but Alabama Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin continues to court him and the Florida Gators have continually tried to get him to visit their school.
In fact, lately, many recruiting pundits believed that Rudolph would eventually flip to the Gators, citing their need for playmakers in new offensive coordinator Kurt Roper’s spread offense.
On Saturday night, Rudolph addressed the rumors.

So there you have it. Rudolph appears to be a firm commitment and plans to sign with the Seminoles on National Signing Day on February 5.
