The Alabama Crimson Tide have lost a commitment from Ventura, California 5-star junior QB Ricky Town. He took to his Twitter account to break the news, and Alabama loses their top recruit for the 2015 class. He doesn’t expand upon his decision to de-commit from the school, simply announcing his decision and saying it was san honor to get to meet coach Nick Saban, while acknowledging how great the Alabama fans were.
Today I have de-committed from Alabama. It was an honor to get to know Coach Saban and the Alabama fans. Thank you!

That means he is back on the market. As 247Sports’s No. 1 rated quarterback in the nation for 2015, he’ll likely get offers from just about every top school. Alabama true freshman David Cornwell acknowledged his decision and wished him the best in his future ventures.
@RickyTownQB good luck bro wherever you land, good to meet you this summer, keep working.
