The Miami Dolphins are currently looking for a new general manager to lead the team into the future and as far away from the Jeff Ireland era as humanly possible. After years of treading water, the Dolphins are sinking like a rock, despite having a talented roster, and the team has seemingly narrowed down the search for the guy to right the ship.

After finishing up a day of interviews, the finalists for the job appear to be Nick Caserio, Lake Dawson and Dennis Hickley.

This might possibly be the most boring search to watch from an outside perspective, but what the Dolphins are doing is trying to find the next architect of the team. Everything starts with the general manager and Miami needs someone to lead the team away from the mistakes of Jeff Ireland.

It’s sounding like the search is almost over, but with the NFL Draft coming up quickly, as well as free agency, the Dolphins are feeling the pressure to make not only a quick decision but the right decision.
