NFL Draft 2014: Scout calls Alabama’s CJ Mosley an elite stud

US Presswire

The NFL Draft is just around the corner, and while the Super Bowl is dominating all football discussions, the 30 teams not playing in the big game are currently trying to figure out what they can do to change their fortunes next year. For mostly all, that means hitting a home run at the NFL Draft and making sure the right players are picked.

One of those players might end up being Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley. The Tide defensive star didn’t attend the Senior Bowl but that hasn’t stopped many from taking notice. Scouts Inc’s Kevin Weidel is one of those people touting Mosley, as he’s described his talents as elite.

Linebacker will be a big position in the draft this year, with many teams needing to shore up the middle of their defense with some stout talent. The success of the Carolina Panthers linebackers proved how quickly a bad team can get turned around when the defense is on fire, and Mosley’s praise will only further raise his stock in the draft.
