Grammy Awards 2014: Lorde Wins Best Pop Solo Performance for Royals (GIF)

Lorde has won the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Royals.”

There was plenty of competition in this category. You have veterans in this category like Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry, but you also have a relative newcomer like Lorde who has just busted onto the scene and taken the industry by storm. The decision had to b a difficult one, but tonight, the newcomer would come out on top.

I think it is safe to say that Lorde was a little surprised when she took the stage to accept her award. Take a look for yourself.
